Mural Costs are worked out taking into account the following elements:

• Consultation, Concept, Design, gathering reference material, production of visuals and working drawings
• Preparation of surfaces and access to site
• Preparatory sketches and initial underpainting
• Painting of sky and backgrounds where appropriate
• Painting of mid distance
• Painting of foreground
• Fine detail finishing
• Materials, travelling and accommodation (where necessary)

Past experience has resulted in a rule of thumb method of providing a quick method to give estimates and this can be done via the internet and email if the client has a good idea of what is possible, simply send a photo of the site, your ideas and accurate measurements as this example shows.
